Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a stay at home mom of two beautiful kids; ages 3 and 1. (yes fun,fun,fun!) I have been married 6 years and we have been together for ten.
My husband Rene and I are high school sweet~hearts. We met in algebra class :) He is the Love of my life. He is my best friend.He is the person God had for me. I can count on him for anything. We have grown up together. We were kids when we got married (18) we have learned many lessons together. We have been through heartbreak and through mending. Through every season of our lives we grow closer.Yes this sounds so picture perfect. Mushy love story ... but there is a twist.
My life isn't quite perfection there is one little thing that changes up my circumstances just a bit .... It is called Retinitis Pigmentosa. I'll get more into it in just a bit....
It's an eye disease that I don't have. My husband does. An eye disease that has robbed us of many things. An eye disease that not only affects Rene but many around him. An eye disease that sucks light and color out of our lives (hence the b&w pictures).
Here is where the blogging comes in. This is where I let you into my life. This is where I'm raw. There is no sugar coating. No holding back. You will see my struggles, my accomplishments and my hopes.This is an outlet for me. This is the beginning of a new journey that I'd like you to join me in.
